Biography

Irinel-Constantin Morarescu is currently Full Professor at Université de Lorraine and researcher with CRAN, CNRS in Nancy, France. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Technology of Information and Systems (received in 2006 from the University of Bucharest and the University of Technology of Compiègne, respectively), and received his "Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches" from the Université de Lorraine in 2016.  His works mainly focus on stability and tracking for different classes of hybrid systems, consensus and synchronization problems. He currently serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Control Systems Letters and he served as Associate Editor for Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems, IEEE Control Systems Letters, and IMA Journal of Mathematical Control and Information. He was a member of the IEEE CSS Conference Editorial Board, and he is a member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Networked Systems.
