Timm Faulwasser Email Biography Timm Faulwasser studied engineering cybernetics at the University of Stuttgart and received the Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering, Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany, in 2012. During his Ph.D. studies he was a member of the International Max Planck Research School for Analysis, Design and Optimization in Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering Magdeburg. During 2013–2016 he was with the Laboratoire d’Automatique, Ècole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently, he leads the Optimization and Control Group, Institute for Automation and Applied Informatics, Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT), Karlsruhe, Germany. His main research interests include optimization and predictive control of uncertain systems with applications in energy systems, mechatronics, process control, and climate economics.
