Pierdomenico Pepe Email Website Biography Pierdomenico Pepe graduated in 1990 in Electronic Engineering at the University of Ancona, and received in 1996 the Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the University of L'Aquila. In 1991-1993 he served in the Technical Corp of the Italian Army Rome, and in the Technical-Scientific Division of Roland DG Martinsicuro. From 1996 to 2021 he served at the University of L'Aquila as assistant researcher and as assistant and associate professor. In 2000, 2001 and 2004 he held one-semester visiting scholar positions at the University of California at Berkeley, at the Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta, and at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklin, respectively. Since 2021 he is serving as full professor of automatic control at the University of L'Aquila. His main research interests include stability theory, nonlinear control, observers, sampled-data control, with special emphasis to systems with time delays.
