Markos Papageorgiou Email Biography Markos Papageorgiou (F’99) was a Free Associate with Dorsch Consult from 1982 to 1988 and the Institut National de Recherche sur les Transports et leur Sécurité from 1986 to 1988. He is currently a Full Professor with the Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece. His current research interests include automatic control, optimization theory and applications to traffic, transportation, and water systems. Dr. Papageorgiou was a recipient of an ERC Advanced Investigator Grant from 2013 to 2018. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the Transportation Research Part C from 2005 to 2012.
