Mariela Cerrada

Biography

Mariela Cerrada is a full professor with the Mechatronics and GIDTEC research group at the Salesian Polytechnic University (Universidad Politécnica Salesiana UPS) in Cuenca, Ecuador. She received the Ph.D. degree in Automatic systems from National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Toulouse, France.  Her main line of research focuses on fault detection and diagnosis of industrial processes by data-driven and model-based approaches using Machine Learning and Control Systems Theory.
