Antonios Georgantas

Biography

Antonios Georgantas received his Diploma (honors) in Production Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Crete in 2016. He was a Research Associate within Dynamic Systems and Simulation Laboratory, where he concluded his Diploma Thesis in Transportation Engineering. Subsequently, he acquired his M.Sc. degree in Operations Research in 2018 from the same Department, focusing on robust optimization approaches, applied to portfolio selection problems. Currently, he is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus. His main interests are Model Predictive Control, Variational Autoencoders, infinitesimal Perturbation Analysis, and Demand Management techniques applied in transportation networks. At the same time, he is working as a researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence (KIOS CoE).
