Zhen Kan IEEE Region: 10 (Asia and Pacific) Email Biography Zhen Kan is a professor in the Department of Automation at the University of Science and Technology of China. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2011 from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Eglin AFB and University of Florida REEF from 2012 to 2016, and was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Iowa from 2016-2019. His current research interests include networked systems, nonlinear control, formal methods, and robotics. He has served on program committees of several internationally recognized scientific and engineering conferences and is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control.
