Raffaele Iervolino

Biography

Raffaele Iervolino received the Laurea degree cum laude in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Science Engineering from the same institution. He is currently an Associate Professor of Automatic Control with the University of Naples Federico II. He is an IEEE Senior Member and an IFAC Affiliate. His activities include participation in several international research projects, the co-founding of two academic spin-offs, the ownership of an international patent, and consultancy collaborations with industry. His research interests include impulsive linear dynamical systems, finite-time stability and stabilization, control of switched systems, opinion dynamics and consensus in social networks, reinforcement learning, and human telemetry systems.
