Biography

Marc Jungers was born in Semur-En-Auxois, France in 1978. He entered the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Cachan (ENS Cachan, now ENS Paris-Saclay, France) in 1999.

He received the ``Agrégation'' in Applied Physical Science in 2002, the Master's Degree in automatic control in 2003 from ENS Cachan and University Paris Sud, (Orsay, France), the Ph.D. Degree from ENS Cachan in September 2006 and the ``Habilitation à diriger les recherches'' degree from Université de Lorraine in 2013.

From 2003 to 2007 he was with Laboratory SATIE and Electrical Engineering Departement in ENS Cachan, as PhD student then as assistant professor.

Since 2007, he joined the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) and the CRAN (Nancy, France, Université de Lorraine) as junior CNRS researcher and since 2017 as senior CNRS researcher to develop research activities in control theory.

His research interests include robust control, coupled Riccati equations and switched and hybrid systems.

He served as Associate Editor for Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems and the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society, serves as Associate Editor for IEEE Control Systems Letters and Systems & Control Letters and is senior member of IEEE.
