Biography
Anthony Hastir was born on November 8, 1995, in Namur, Belgium. He received the M.Sc. degree and the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Namur (Belgium), in 2018 and 2022, respectively. He did a research stay at the University of Twente/Enschede (The Netherlands) in 2018. Since October 2022, he has been a FNRS postdoctoral researcher at the University of Namur and also a member of the Namur Institute for Complex Systems (naXys), University of Namur. His main research interests are in nonlinear infinite-dimensional systems theory, linear-quadratic optimal control and boundary control, with application to chemical reactor models.
