Biography

Sergio Grammatico (M’16) was born in Marsala, Italy, in 1987. He received the bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, the master’s degree in automatic control engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in automatic control from the University of Pisa in 2008, 2009, and 2013, respectively, and the master’s degree in engineering science from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Italian Superior Graduate School for Applied Sciences (Grande école), Pisa, in 2011. In 2012, he visited the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of California at Santa Barbara. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Automatic Control Laboratory, ETH Zurich. From 2015 to 2017, he was an Assistant Professor with the Control Systems Group, TU Eindhoven. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Delft Center for Systems and Control, TU Delft, The Netherlands. His research revolves around game theory, optimization and control for complex multi-agent systems, with applications in power grids and automated driving. He was awarded the 2013 and 2014 TAC Outstanding Reviewer. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 2016 ISDG International Conference on Network Games, Control and Optimization.
