Biography

Messaoud Amairi (IEEE Graduate Student’10, Member’12, Senior Member’15) is a Doctor Eng. with more than 10 years of experience in higher education and research. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the National Engineering School of Gabes. His responsibilities have included: teaching; promoting student engagement; proposing ideas to enhance employability and improving student’s skills.

Messaoud Amairi is a member of the Modelling, Analysis and Control of Systems Laboratory (MACS), University of Gabes. He has many contributions in the field of fractional order differentiation and its applications in identification and robust control. He is also interested in the set-membership approaches and their applications in identification, observation, diagnosis, prognosis and fault-tolerant control. He has published over 40 papers in renowned journals and international conferences.

Messaoud Amairi has participated in the organization of many scientific activities (workshops, conferences, spring school, seminars, training). He is an executive board member of the Tunisian Association of Automatic and Digitization. He is also a member of several administrative committees like the Evaluation Committee of National Engineering School of Gabes (2016) and the Committee of Program’s update(2012-2016).
