Pietro Tesi

Biography

Pietro Tesi received the Laurea degree and the Ph.D. degree in Computer & Control Engineering, both from the University of Florence, Italy, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering, University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He is also affiliated with the Jan Willems Center for Systems and Control. Previously he has been a Research Associate at the Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, Robotics, and System Engineering, University of Genoa, Italy, in 2011-2013, and a Visiting Research Scholar at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UC Santa Barbara, CA, USA, in 2008-2009. His main research interests include adaptive control, hybrid systems, networked control and adaptive optics. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board (2014-present) and an Editor of the International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control (2016-present).
